1. Does Creative Bathing have an installation service? Yes we do. Creative Bathing has its own fully qualified craftsman. We do not sub-contract work out, and we can therefore ensure our customers will benefit from an expertly installed bathroom, with on time delivery. Customer service is always our first consideration and we only carry out installations we can manage with total confidence in our expertise. 2. What guarantees does Creative Bathing offer? All products we sell come with our own one year guarantee, unless superseded by the manufactures own warranty. Most of our shower doors and enclosures carry a lifetime manufactures warranty. For full bathroom renovations all workmanship is backed up by our no quibble ten year written guarantee against leaks, subject to terms and conditions. These terms give you peace of mind and reflect on the confidence and experience we have in installing waterproof tanking systems. (Note: while the guarantee is for ten 10 years, the life expectancy of our installed systems typically exceeds this period.) 3. Does Creative Bathing carry out “on site” visits? Yes we do, and we recommend you take advantage of this complimentary service. Experience tells us that often times customers have been incorrectly sold fixtures and fittings which are unsuitable for the intended application. At Creative Bathing we believe the customer should make an informed choice, based on the actual and specific situation. Accordingly we are only too happy to guide you to choosing quality product that will be right for you. Our qualified personnel can visit at a mutually convenient time. We recommend you allow upwards of two hours for one of our consultative visits. An on site inspection includes the following: • A general overall analysis of the existing plumbing system, to ensure your existing system will be suitable for you new proposed bathroom, wet room or steam room. • Check the water pressure to determine which taps and showers will be best suited for you. • Check the existing soil & vent/drainage outlay, something that is often overlooked. Our qualified consultant will ensure the existing drainage system is up to standard, especially when installing floor drains in wet rooms. • Last but not least, in creating an individual space for each individual customer, we offer inspirational ideas towards creating a room set, be it sophisticated, contemporary, classic or fun. Creative Bathing can bring your dream bathroom to life! Research has shown that many customers only realise what mistakes were made when ordering products, once their contractors had started. More often than not, they realise they would have preferred something else if they were given all the choices at the time The last thing you want to do is reorder goods after a project has started as this disrupts the flow of a job causing delays and unwanted costs. Incorrect choice of taps and showers can also cause disappointing results! 4. What should we expect to pay for a fully renovated bathroom? As a general rule of thumb bathrooms cost anywhere from £12,000 and up. Prices for fixtures, fittings, tiles, etc. can vary considerably. Wet rooms cost a little more, while steam rooms tend to cost considerably more. Accessories can also affect the overall cost. Creative Bathing offers a wide variety of bathroom taps, sanitary ware, accessories and tiles to suit both mid range and high end budgets. 5. How long does a full bathroom renovation take? Standard bathrooms take between three and four weeks to complete, while wet rooms, steam rooms, etc. take between five and eight weeks to complete. Once we have carried out a full site inspection, we will be in a position to give you a definite time frame and schedule for the contract. 6. What are wet rooms? Wet rooms are bathroom/shower rooms which offer a true level floor access and are guaranteed against leaks. Wet rooms can be fitted with a walk in enclosure or a shower enclosure with a door. 7. Are wet rooms safe? Yes, absolutely, provided they have been expertly installed (see No. 2 above). There are a few products on the market though that we do recommend and sell in this regard; e.g. Impey UK. www.impey-showers.com wet room systems - Impey offers a fifteen year warranty on their Aqua-Dec system. 8. Can you have under tile heating inside a wet room? Yes you can and we recommend you install this feature in your wet room.
